LIDAR sensor, 128 gb base model , 6 gb ram across all models are right decisions. However A12Z SoC is underwhelming.
Good review but I wish someone would use the iPad LiDAR measure tool against a tape measure to see how accurate this thing is. If its not extremely accurate, it’s just more dog-n-pony show stuff.
good afternoon. the LIDAR sensor is the future of the iphones, imagine that they only brought that camera. You could take 2d and 3d photos, having in the future print them as models. For me, this opens a new milestone in the field of smartphones. regards!
I’m guessing this refreshed iPad was just a test device for the LiDAR module, due to its relatively low volume compared to the iPhone. Not a bad strategy, ironing out any kinks in a less crucial product launch in time for the big one.

I like the updated measure, but ive found it inaccurate on the phone. I highly doubt ill measure with an ipad. Great review. I love how in depth you went. I cant wait to see how durable and flexible the hinge is on the magic keyboard.
Hey Jeff..I need some help..I know this video is about the new iPad but I’m having a problem with my iCloud and Apple Watch series 4…my iCloud profile pic is not showing up on my Watch..it shows my name but not my pic..I tried changing the pic, and tired unpairing then repairing it, but that didn’t work..it changed on my iPhone 11 and my 2019 iPad Pro..you have any idea on what I can do or is the a glitch in the new OS?
This iPad makes my 256 Gig iPad Mini 5 look really bad…
