Actually my favorite portable Multi-Device keyboard
Its nice to see alternatives besides just Logitech. Good review. I appreciate your subtle background music too, very pleasant.
My K1 v1 has the caps lock indicator lights
By updating firmware.
Is it a default function or u enable it? i got a K1 v1 too but I dont have the caplock indicator light
So this basically means that the decline recommended by Microsoft sculpt, and other ergonomic keyboards, to save the wrists will be much harder to achieve.
Too bad. Bring me a mechanical keyboard with a decline and a wrist support instead.
Never tried a decline. Better to type on in your opinion? I prefer the incline to a flat surface, but perhaps decline is better than either?
this K2 v2 is perfect for me with MX Master 3. best combination ever.
Can you have keyboard profiles, like the Corsair iCue software provides?
I bought the previous version, the red-like switch was awful.
Oofs, Gat brown is not really tactile, the bump is so tiny that it feels like a linear. Gotta give props for being so affordable though. Very good entry in to mech keyboard.
When I first started, I bought 3 K2’s and modded them with sounds deadening material and lubed stabilizers. Make sounds much more solid.
Whew… pricy, about $100 bucks after tax & all; but mechanical keyboards are a pure delight!
Minor side note… I killed my caps lock key eons ago, and never looked back. For those who’d like to do so it’s easy; go to system prefs keyboard, make sure ‘keyboard’ is selected in the upper horizontal menu, then click the ‘Modifier Keys’ button at lower right. Change the ‘Caps Lock’ pull down to ‘No Action’ & click ‘OK’. Changing it back is just as easy.
Cool videos, Thanks!
International? German-Version?
I dont know if you will see this but when I installed windows 10 using your method and I found out I need a product key. Could please make a video on what to do or tell me what to do please.
It’s a lot like my 2006 Mac Pro keyboard, in black and grey. Now, where’s that flux capacitor …
My next keyboard… thanks 9to5Mac!
Very nice keyboard. Too bad I can’t use it since it doesn’t have a Scandinavian key layout option.
Is there a keyboard like this with a numpad?
No number pad is a non-starter for me.
I wish they removed that top (functions) row. I currently use RK61 and I’m happy with its form factor. K2 is a good keyboard, I really tempted to pledge their first version on Kickstarter back then, but I was and still concerned about the size compared to my RK61, especially if you travel/commute a lot and can’t leave your mechanical weapon at home.
I love my Logitch MX keys and I know this K2 has 3 device support, but the 3 device support with the Unifi receivers is just so so much faster than Bluetooth. I switch between the two so often I don’t want to wait for bluetooth. However I still so want one of these keyboards.
