My issue with that Satechi Hub with enclosure is that it’s not compatible with NVMe, supports M.2 SATA SSD only.
They should make a thunderbolt version of it. Easy sales, I can’t believe they haven’t yet.
The Satechi M1 is a great little mouse – I use it as my travel mouse. Nice color too.
Only thing I would buy is the hub w/ enclosure. I would but cheaper options for the keyboard and mouse
Here is MY favourite Mac Mini accessory – WALL MOUT BRACKET – IF someone wants to steal it – NEEDS to bring own power tools to steal it – as with hands it is impossible to rip it off the wall – and since those Mac Minis M2 can cost $3000+ it is BRAINLESS investment
Fernando you forgot to tell us which webcam is better for FaceTime there are so many of them to decide……
I missed the price of the Mac Mini ? and is there a student discount?
Its all over the Internet.
Thanks for this setup review. My iMac is from 2009 and I was thinking about upgrading with the mini. However, Apple’s monitor is costly. I was happy to see examples of other setup options
I just got the Mac Mini M2 and got a Samsung 4k monitor. I originally got a curved 27” Samsung 2k monitor and MacOS looked terrible on it. No issues since exchanging it for the 4k monitor.
Great video
Nice I noticed that there are many hubs where you can add SSDs or use an external hard drive with SSDs is there anything to add internal RAM from like 8gb to 16gb or 24gb, etc. for the Mac mini?
Nope, the ram is soldered
I feel stupid that I didn’t get the education discount considering my wife home schools my son. I kind of made out ok because my job gave me a magic keyboard and magic mouse a while back and never asked for them back so that was a win. I actually got the same 1080 monitor that you showed. It’s been working well.
Did I miss it? Which wrist wrest are you using?
Great vid. Bought the Orbitkey desk mat on your recommendation -= I love it. So much more organised now 🙂 Cheers
hub actually isnt compatible with NVMe only m.2 sata….
External speaker recommendation(s)?
Great video, thanks!
