Ever since seeing you proudly display your affiliation to police I’m trying my BEST to find a new source of Apple news.
@Casper S� go watch the video he just did on MagSafe wallets. I am familiar with all of those sources and don’t follow them for various reasons. I mean at this point I’m almost about to just stop following Apple all together because the user base is insufferable as the company.

@Rafael Roden well. You can read apple’s press release website I guess. I don’t care about MagSafe accessories so can’t be bothered to watch the video you reference but Black Lives Matter.
I have a M1 Max Mac Studio. It’s slightly less stable than my last intel Mac and the USB subsystem is, shall we say, “touchy” but I can overlook these things because the M1 Max processor is really great at what it does otherwise.
I might be a *tad* miffed that a M2 Max is out right around the corner, but the M1 version does everything I need I can’t feel too envious.

My M2 MacBook Air is so good…. I don’t think I’ll outgrow it for a loooooong time! It’ll be interesting to see the M2 MBP but definitely not something I’d buy.
The real question is when will they allow for dual monitors on a MacBook Air ?
kinda glad they haven’t changed the iMac to M2 yet, because we’re still trying to look at getting a MacBook for my wife and don’t want to feel a pull to upgrade our M1 iMac yet.
also going forward I really do hope the next gen iMac has more ports, first thing I bought other than an external drive was the Thunderbolt 3 Dock which I quickly used up almost all of the ports on that.

M2 Pro et al will be like M2 if you have a M1 don’t bother the benefit is going to be too small to spend that much money on. If you haven’t transitioned to M-series then you will notice a difference depending on how old your Intel Mac was. Example I still have my iMac with Intel i9 ten core chip and I have a MacBook Air M2. The speed difference isn’t that much the ten core i9 is a fast chip, but on the M2 the graphics are faster, load times for some apps are faster. For me most app I use run about the same, but I don’t do any graphics intensive work so all that GPU’s of M2 don’t do much for me. So if you do a lot of graphics intensive work or gaming you will see more performance boost on a M-series chip. Bottom line there are a lot of factors involved that determine how much more performance you will actually notice in your day-to day use of your Mac. For get all the benchmarks they really don’t mean that much, what matters is how things feel to you. It’s like a car can got up to 130 MPH and do 0-60 in 3 seconds, but in my daily driving I don’t drive like that so what’s it matter. Find a friend with a M-series Mac and ask if you can try it out for an hour or so and do the typical thing you do everyday, how much faster is it for you.
Honestly, m1 Air with 16gb Ram and 0.5-1 TB SSD is fine for me but I need two external screens. Waiting to see how m2 pro looks like but stop waiting after knowing that they won’t come out this fall. Get an M1 Pro with >$600 off during BF sales and I am happy to upgrade from intel MPB.
