can you use sidecar? i tested last time it didn’t support. already use script too
Ferdian A. Andarius Sidecar needs a specific instruction set that’s only available on skylake and newer CPUs, iirc.
CloakedHDTV Only if you don’t use 32 bit. It’s hit or miss, though. Some people like me have had a great experience with Catalina while others have not.

Clinton Canarias You should be able to, but check Apple’s supported devices list. That device has the same CPU or a similar one as my laptop so I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to.
hmm I’m honestly quite impressed with iPad OS and the inclusion of sidecar, now I’m a working professional photographer and Ive been curious about ditching my MacBook Pro 2016 with TouchBar and replacing with the iPad Pro; I do have the 2015 27in iMac with that sexy 5k display, I wonder if I should use my iMac for handling batch edits, while use the iPad Pro for light edits and travel. I’m not crazy right? I know that iPad os is very limited compared to OS X but still if Apple continues to add more OS X features and support, it could be a potential MacBook replacement!
The only real limitation iPads had was the way storage worked. Now you have direct access to files, so you can use it for work with no problems IMO.
Voice Control is amazing and something us physically disabled are going to use daily. I’ve been using it through the beta. I can’t believe features like this are now built into macOS. It does have a few missing features that hopefully Apple will add in future releases but from nothing to what they have now is a major leap forward. Kudos Apple.
We have iMovie on iOS devices as well. Photos for Mac is probably an older stable build that will get updated with the new features as both teams (Mac and iOS) work on bug fixes
What Apple doesn’t tell you is, this update, It partitions your hard drive so it can keep some data safe.

Can’t use sidecar as my MacBook Pro is too old ! How disappointing, I’ll use duet instead or has Apple made it obsolete as well?

When i use Sidecar, just before the screen extends to my iPad, the screen flashes with RED background. Is it a bug in Catalina?
