    • This is why I gave this the thumbs downs. Ita a very shady sponsor. They should explain this. Because for us with 16inch MacBook this information is make or break. Plus they don’t even test them and show us the real power draw to the plugged in devices. This is a shady practice.

    • @Aarron Mcgilbert There is nothing too concerning about these types of specific sponsorships. It’s marketing for a Kickstarter campaign.

In fact they are probably the most reliable Kickstarter projects. I have backed a few of these types of campaigns. These are invariably pretty complete projects already and use the Kickstarter backer feedback to develop the product further to enhance it even more. You can use it as an opportunity to ask specific questions. The power distribution is already on the page if you were going to use multiple devices. The only issue for many is the delay before it is delivered.

    • I just do not like that is never clear the exact power delivery. People do not understand that to charge a macbook while under load it has to be the only thing plugged in and its never said.

    • @Aarron Mcgilbert It is actually mentioned on the campaign page. I do actually have the hyper juice 100W charger which is mentioned on the comparison table. I bought it via a similar campaign. It is good enough for me to not worry about this new campaign even if slightly smaller. While you cannot run all devices at full power at the same time you can use it overnight to recharge multiple devices and then use as a dedicated charger for a specific device during the day. For those that travel these are very practical. You can take a foreign power adapter for use in the country that you are planning to visit rather than another travel adapter. This alone makes it a practical device for anyone who travels.

    • @David Lazarus “…delay before it is delivered.” THIS!!! This is exactly why I hate these kickstarters. By the time this gets actually produced, Anker and RavPower will have something even better on the market which will be backed by actual companies that can honor warranties and are insured for when bricks like this burn down your house.
This doesn’t really fit this channel, even if they are sponsoring.

  1. they just won’t get rid of their beloved usb A, I want to live in a single cable world and companies are prohibiting me from doing so
