This is a nice, informative video. If you are seeking an accessory that does strictly what your demonstration accomplished, then it’s great. But if you’re seeking a Thunderbolt 3 dongle that will enhance your laptop with needed ports and slots, plus offer the ability to pass-through charge the laptop via USB-C, then it’s not going to satisfy customers’ needs. Customers will typically want, in addition to the ports on the Elgato, at least 2 or 3 USB-A ports, an SD-card slot (and maybe also a MicroSD card slot, and maybe a CF card slot as well), as well as a USB-C power passthrough and maybe a spare Thunderbolt 3 port. I would expect most MacBook Pro users will want a hub that will be able to allow pass-through power to the laptop via USB-C charging.
Now, if the Elgato is supposed to be a supplementary accessory, in addition to a pass-through-style hub provided by another product, then this may be of interest to some laptop users.

There’s no need to be critical just for the sake of being critical. If I had something negative to say, it would have been there. I did mention the plastic build as a negative, but besides that, there’s not much to complain about. ☺️
