1. I’m going to order this once I get paid tomorrow. I totally think it’s worth it!!

   • Griffin Kennedy difference in perspective I guess. I for one find it to be the best design for a battery case there’s only so much design wise they can do with a big battery case and I think personally it looks fine. As for not having an on off switch of when to charge and having the smart battery case decide when it should kick in as a plus because I like how Apple makes its products think for me because the last thing I got to be managing is my battery on my iPhone instead of just knowing it’ll always be ideally charging when it needs too. Plus the smart battery case is detected as a battery case not like other battery cases where when you turn it on to charge your iPhone the iPhone detects it as power from the wall and causes other functions to power on such as iCloud backup and other background tasks that only run when plugged into the wall another reason why I like how iOS knows when to best charge the case.

   • +Sam Michaelis Apple Care+ is $299. For 2 years with theft or loss protection with a 269 dollar deductable. So that is $569 out of pocket consumer cost for apple to replace your lost or stolen phone on top of the already over priced 1000 dollar phone you paid for the first one assuming you bought the base model. That only cost Apple $375.75 in parts to make according to the IHS teardown of parts cost. So apple has made 1600 dollars off of what only cost them 800 dollars in parts. So they net 800 dollars of profit off of you. Yes some of that goes to foxcon to pay the kids who make your phone but let’s be honest they aren’t seeing much of that. $199 with out theft and loss protection For the XS and XS max. Apple charges 80 dollars for a battery replacement so even if you got a new battery twice in the 2 years a new battery would cost $160 saving 40 bucks so Apple Care really is not a money ahead option for the consumer if all your going to use it is for battery replacement.

   • Griffin Kennedy well unless you have prove of saying that ( prove the system management is dumb in terms of manege the battery charge ) , your words doesn’t mean anything .

     Apple either made it work really well or break it .

2. I like the case but $130 is too expensive.

   • Yeah I agree it’s a little pricy, but a lot of battery cases that can wirelessly charge, mophie, comes to mind, are around this price (maybe like 10-15 dollars cheaper).

3. Btw the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case won’t work with the iPhone X, the bottom microphone array cutout is a bit different.

   • Zollo tech slammed that iPhone X in a XS case and it fit better on the X than the XS! It was able to read the case too like checking the battery level on the widget screen!

   • The iPhone X has different dimensions, it sucks. I tried to use my iPhone X Apple Cases and it doesn’t fit the XS

7. I just ordered one. Comes in handy while filming concerts etc. With my EPP discount and a $100 gift card I had it just cost me $27

8. I would get this if I ignored that fact that it would be useless as soon as I got a new phone. A universal power bank is a much better value.

   • Bouncer YT unless you get a new phone once a year, which is stupid, then a bi-yearly basis is a fair enough investment for a case and battery in one, as oppose to carrying a power bank around like an idiot.

9. It’s ugly, more expensive than the last one, AND has a lower capacity. Haaaa. No way! I’d rather let my XS Max die than to put this hideous thing on it.

   • cockyjeremy its fake this case has higher capacity than 7 or 6s cases

   • It is lower but it has a design that makes your phone last longer

   • This smart battery case is actually pretty cheap. Even the 3rd party battery case for Xs/Xs max cost around the same price, and doesn’t have a smart feature.

   • You guys are rarted, the case has a larger capacity than previous models offered.

11. Very impressed with the functionality and the iOS integration. But…although I am a fairly heavy user, I do not have any problem with the battery life of my XS Max. I’m tempted, just because it is a neat design, and it’s Apple. But the truth is, I don’t think I really need it.

12. Why Apple won’t put a 4000mah battery in the phone, it will make things much easier.
