    • @9to5Mac c’mon. The narrator say twice in the video that its a headphone input. I’m just trying to emphasise the difference between an output and an input. It obviously can not accept input from a headphone, becasue the headphone is not an input device.

    • Hi Guys, just to clarify, the 3.5mm jack is both a headphone output and an audio input for a lavalier mic. A long press of the mic select button (bottom left) enables the lav input function. AND we have a really cool firmware update coming next week that will feature something we call Interview Mode that will allow recording with the cardioid mic and the lav at the same time and will save the audio to two different tracks, thus allowing a professional quality interview to be recorded with just the Tula Mic and a clip on lav.

  1. I’m trying to use the link to purchase, but when I go to buy it only lets me go to Amazon. Where do we use the code?

  2. Had my Tula for a few months now. My only gripe is that the socket where you attach either the stand or a standard mic mount is flimsy. It’s made from a cheap plastic that wears very easily. If you want the versatility of having it on a desk mount but also, taking on the go, it’ll likely wear down as mine is barely functional at this point.

  3. Thanks for this nice introduction. It’s mentioned a couple of times in the video that it can be hardwired to either a Mac or iPad. How about iPhone?

    • Yes, you can also use it with an iPhone but, as with most USB devices, you’ll need to use an Apple Camera Connector that has an MFI chip inside.
