I worry for Apple it’s all starting to feel stagnant on the iPhone front. The iPad and watch are fine as they are for now but a three year design cycle is one too many.
This is the 3rd year for the front screen with the notch. Usually they hold the same design for at least 5 years
Thanks for all the replies. I wasn’t aware of other manufacturers as such so it is interesting that some of those have not changed. I don’t care for improved chips, memory or pixel density I don’t think any improvement there would be noticeable for me (have the Xs max). I would like the notch gone and I would like a decent optical zoom.
It’s feels like supporting your favourite sports team and being frustrated that they have the money to buy great players but they stick with the good/average ones they have.
I want to see Apple do something great again. Push the boundaries again. I won’t switch to Android but Apple must seen that little iterations are not innovations.

I upgrade each year. I may as well in the uk it’s easy you just swap the phone in for the new one. I love the company I just want to see them doing great things. I’ll upgrade again anyway.
Hmmm, well maybe because I’m always broke that’s why I have that mentality. My current iPhone 6s was given to me by someone who was going to leave it in a drawer with their other old iPhones anyways.
