I started the video and then went to look at the price. I gasped. While I understand the price premium on this monitor, I wonder if there is one that is about the same size and with the same TB3 (that can charge a laptop) and USB 3 connections for less money?

A bit too small for my taste. 4K needs at least 35 inches IMO.
By that metric, 2880×1800 is too much for a 15” MacBook Pro. The 27” 5K iMac was brilliant, but honestly, I could even go 10k at 27”.
@Casper S� I never used a 15 inch at that high resolution, bad yes it is very possible that would be the case for me.
