  1. All very nice – so what good is it if iPhone does not connect? How are you making calls from a computer?

  2. Does it sync with your itunes contacts, or do you have to reenter all the contacts?? and what about google contacts?
GREAT VIDEOS BY THE WAY!!! LOVE THEM!!

  3. I was very skeptical about this app and the price of it until I saw this video. It really does seem like a powerful alternative to the default contacts app on Mac.

  4. Please, please, please make this a series. Make new video every one or two weeks focusing on very handy and useful apps

  5. Lover your content and love your style! Keep up the good work, Jeff! Right now, I have Full Contact, BusyContacts, and Apple Contacts. I’m not fully satisfied with any of them, and Cardhop looks great but more of the same. FullContacts has some amazing features, such as filling in publicly available info and de-duplicating, but . . . none of these apps really do bring enough data integrity to my contacts. Here’s a good scenario: Bob changes jobs, as indicated in his LinkedIn profile. My “perfect” contact manager would alert me to this and help me delete the old items (e.g., Bob’s no longer at ABC Corp. Would you like me to delete the old company name, work phone , fax, email, and address?”) I can dream, can’t I?

    • Yeah data integrity has always been a tough problem to tackle. There are some apps that claim to do it, but I haven’t tried any recently. I usually just resort to the manual process.

    • Rick Holzer reach out to the developers of any one of them and start a petition. If enough users sign it, they have to pay attention it

  6. I’m a Mac user, but I live in the Google environment for email and contacts. Can I configure Card Hop to default to my Gmail contacts rather than Apple contacts, like I can using Apple Contacts on my mobile devices?

  7. OK, so I am 1 minute into this video and you have been going on about how great its UI skin is without telling me anything about what the app does. It makes me feel like it is a paid ad for the company. Instead tell me what the app does first, and then tell me about how time efficient it is.

    • That may be but this video follows the format of the scam videos where they get you invest time into watching nothing before you realize the video is clickbait.

    • Till Seyer he replied to another comment saying it syncs with google and iCloud contacts, so yes

  8. Hey Ducky 🙂 OK, I have Fantastical2 and it’s great both on my Mac and iOS. This is expensive. Just bought a FastRaw Viewer the other day and that app is sooo filled with functions it’s unreal for that price. I’d gladly paid the double. Cardhop is cool but reading the reviews on MAS, nja, not there yet. I’d love them to implement cleaning up the duplicates because, somehow, my Google Contacts, Apple Contacts, work stuff, it’s a mess. A good app like Cardhop should offer a cleanup and “start from scratch” option. Then I’d love it and that would be a true value for the money. Then I wouldn’t mind so much about the reported issues in reviews because I know the developers are very responsive and hard working guys & gals, boyz & girls. Anyway, love you stuff, keep ’em comin’!
