After I watched this video, I think touch bar better than touch screen on
pc. It is amazing when opening safari I can searching on touch bar just
start touch.
I’m planning on getting the $1800 base Macbook Pro 13 with Touch bar…you
think it’s worth the money for a person like me who does video editing at
1080p using FCPX and general school work?
Also how is the battery life?
It would easily handle 1080p with no issues. Battery life is okay, just not
as good as the non-Touch model.
9to5Mac Thank you 🙂
What are the specs of the model reviewed here?
3.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz. I
also opted to go with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
9to5Mac The 13 inchers should be quad core just like the 15 inchers sans
the discrete graphics for the price your paying!
The voice is from IDB, Jeff !!!! Am i right ?
Yes
I notised that too.
What’s the battery life like with the i7 and 16 GB of RAM?
Jamie Chen i hear the base model without the touch bar has a hour more
battery than the rest because of the 2.0 ghz processor
So base model should be 9 1/2 hours and the rest should be 8 1/2 hours
because the i5 and the i7 waste just a bit more juice
why dont you buy 15″ MBP instead of ur $2499 13″ MBP ?
“Pro” LMAO
Anyone know if it even makes any difference upgrading the 15 inch graphics
card?
+Admiral Ashik Thanks, what do you think that would translate into in
respect to games? A few frames a second?
TheTCOLL Yes. Significantly better performance on gpu upgrade. If your
primary reason to buy one is gaming and mac os isn’t a must, you should opt
for razer blade. But if gaming is secondary then this will do better in
every other aspect except gaming where it will do mode than decent.
If you ask me, the only thing you should upgrade on the 15′ is get the 512
gb ssd and 460 gpu. Other upgrades are not nearly as needed and price is
too much. But gpu is a must if you plan on gaming as there’s a significant
difference in 450 to 460
TheTCOLL also, 460 has double the vram of 4 gb wherein 450 has only 2gb
+Admiral Ashik I just heard from a friend that sometimes the video card
might have an extra 2GB but never use it. I dont plan on gaming much but
may do a bit of editing from time to time. I want it to be future proof.
Just wondering if its worth it to upgrade it to the max, its only around
100-200 more.
+Admiral Ashik Yea it is unfortunate that you need to upgrade to the top
level to get the 512 SDD and video card option,
Could you provide more details on how this spec’d out 13′ MBP performs
against the base MBP w/ Touch Bar (i5 2.9GHz, 8gb ram). Also, is the
battery really that much worse?
The tabs in Safari should be favicons on the touch bar IMO
I don’t really care much about the Touch bar as it’s just a luxury rather
than offering actual functionality. But it’d be immensely useful to have
Touch ID on all MacBook Pro models. I’ve wanted it for a long time, but it
sets me back because it’s only available on the more expensive Touch bar
model.
I just tried it and I’m not even close to touching the function keys on my
computer while typing normally.
MacBook Pro 2016 15″ vs Razer Blade Pro 2016 17″
Which the best??
I have 27 inch iMac at home , do u think 13 or 15 inch good for video
editing and motion graphic use after effect and c4d?
I have a question- I think you used Adobe Photoshop app is that true?
I think we want to see a test comparing this macbook to the competition at
same price point
Useless gimmick. Horrible keyboard. No useful ports. This is just horrible.
Im glad i have my late 2014 one
You could say that Apple has lost their “touch”.. hehe
The moment when you are still using a 2010 macbook pro and you are more
than happy with it
i get a dongle with my lightning headphone?…courage ya
