The Lacie Rugged RAID Pro is a 4TB drive preconfigured with RAID 0 for 250 MB/s read. It's not the fastest drive, but it does have one awesome feature: a built in UHS-II SD Card reader.

I’m hanging out in the comments for the next 30-60 mins to answer any questions that you may have about the drive. So have at it!
can you give examples suggestions for hddisk with faster speeds?
A large SSD is the direction you want to go. Do you have Thunderbolt 3? You can get some ridiculously fast drives these days.
9to5Mac does this harrdisk From lacie not support thunderbolt 3?
Yes, I have the 2017 macbook pro, with 5k monitor from LG, I have lacie drives, but just wondering if 500MB/s is good, and what drive I should get
USB-C (USB 3.1 Gen 1 only) 5Gbps
Would be nice if it had a way to copy the SD without having to use a computer. Just put some batteries in this drive and we would have a very good backup solution
Hah, there is actually a LaCie drive that does this, but it’s marketed towards drone users.
Dah price tho
Over $300 for just 4TB mechanical harddrive?
SD Card Backup without a mac Would be a Great Feature
look at the WD wireless passport pro 4tb
I have always liked your style of videos Jeff. Another, fine video. Could you do some videos for us that have older Mac computers still? Thank you, either way.
Isn’t it just pronounced “lacy?” or “lay-cee” ?? Why you force your tongue?
Would this work with my iPad Pro
Thanks for reviewing this. Was considering this when I was looking for a hard drive. However I needed the speeds of an SSD. Do make an update video if you use it for a while, since there are a lot of amazon reviews saying that it quits working sometimes
As soon as a power cable adapter came up. I was Like OMG!
Good afternoon excellent video from India.

Youtube has not showing me new videos for you 🙁
