21 Comments on Hands-on with Nvidia GeForce Now for Mac at CES 2017

  1. “20 hours for 25 dolars” smells like a huge flop having in mind the average
time that players play per month. I would prefer a million times those
external ways to plug a GPU into a mac. In matter of a couple months it
would be less expensive. Looks nice, indeed, but very badly executed.

    • *Ding ding ding* And that’s why it’s priced the way it is. Why would Nvidia
make this affordable and kill their GPU market?

    • Someone else will come along and do it (they already have), leaving Nvidia
behind. Wow. They fucked up badly.

I guess they’re banking on most Apple users and/or gamers not being tech
savvy enough to consider the other options rather than financially fucking
yourself with what they’ve released here.

  2. This would turn into a habit more expensive than smoking gold plated
imported 200 year preserved original cigarres

  3. I’m really happy about my new MacBook Pro’s gaming performance. Would be
interested in a cheaper RAZER core type solution tho

  4. Geforce Now and all streaming gaming services can suck my big fat lollipop.
Anything to take any power left, from the end user. Fraking hate them.

  5. 20 hours for $25 dollars? Hahahahahahahahahah. It should be $25/month for
1060 gaming and $35/month for 1080 gaming, charging by the hour is
ridiculous, hopefully they’ll realize that soon after launch. Spending $200
on a 1060 for your old PC will almost always make more sense.
