Heck NO on the mouse. The pencil is for fine use and more personal than a mouse could every be. They need to upgrade the pencil to do all the mouse things you want.
2nd, on the 4 windows, YES! I didn’t know I wanted that but yes.
Multiple logins? Yes! Great video, minusthe mouse.
I think the same, for precision, I have always tought Microsoft did a really nice idea with how for mobility you used the Surface Pen for doing really precise selections. If Apple decided to create a special API or even include it directly on the box, they could do a nice advantage.
As I do not shoot or edit video (strictly a stills shooter), I am quite content with my Apple Pencil on my Pro, though mouse support would be nice, I am not particularly passionate about it.
No because I just take my Macbook Pro with me wherever I go, especially since Apple has made it as light as it is and its more powerful than any tablet can ever be. Apple just needs to make the Ipad Pro into the Surface competitor and put a Touch based MacOS on it
The only problem is that Apple is so reluctant to admit they’re wrong that it will never happen. Surface will continue to have the superiority for the foreseeable future. Especially with the new Surface Pro which is boasting a faster, more accurate pen than iPad Pro that also has tilt support.
Why not just scrap iOS all together and let it run OS X? Now that would be pro!
OS X has mouse support, the last time I checked 😉
that would be a MacBook with no keyboard
CTJonze iOS and iOS apps are battery efficient unlike desktop OS or their apps.
macOS*
This product already exist… it’s called a 12′ Macbook
why not just get a fucking laptop at that point
+cameraman655 Apple is shortsighted. Microsoft already has their Surface line which beautifully fulfills the need for a single device that does everything well, and they also already have Windows running perfectly on ARM devices. The first ARM based 2-in-1 devices are due to hit late this year, and will further cement their superiority in this area where Apple cannot match.
The homo CEO (Tim Cook) has got to be talking about his overshitted laptops which would come to a close! Set on that touch-bar while swallowing a dongle Mr. Tim Cook!
Jay Y The Surface line is nothing but a joke. The Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop straight up suck.
No mouse support, if you need it, just buy a mac
Do you imagine an ipad keyboard with touch bar?
FCPX for iOS and external HD support for our big PRORES files
No mouse, that’s literally just a 12″ MacBook then
What you want in a]your vision of a true iPad Pro already exists. It’s called a MacBook.
The iPad Pro is never going to be pro. Because no one in their right mind wants to use a tablet as a standalone device for everything.
yes, it’s called a surface pro.
Jeff how do you do that with this users on the iPad?
I love the Magic Mouse on iPad!
Are these jailbreak features? I’d buy the iPad Pro if it have these.
If Apple add all these to the iPad then there is no difference between a iPad Pro and a MacBook
Hook up 3D Touch and update that Touch ID sensor!
In this days PRO does not meaning nothing for Apple products
Multi user, file access
The iPad lost all its magic to me.
For video editing, there are already professional iPad Apps, especially LumaFusion , it looks a lot like Final Cut Pro too
+MobileAddict trust me. LumaFusion is a far, far, far cry from FCP X. Not even in the same stratosphere of capability.
9to5Mac it’s gradually adding new features(chroma key, export to FCP, etc), the app is still relatively new, and the current FCP wasn’t made in a month, it took years
9to5Mac some tv documentaries have been edited with this app by mobile journalists
MobileAddict I’m not knocking it. It’s great to have these apps available. But I stand by the fact that we need the full version of FCP X, not an imitation. I don’t want to “export to FCP X.” I want to use FCP X on my iPad.
+MobileAddict impressive, for sure. I guess I need to give it another shot. It just seems too slow compared to FCPX for long projects.
