Is the RC and the official public iOS 16 the same software??
yes and no. There could be some extremely minor changes if bugs are found/fixed, but to the average user, other than the name (and method of installing them) there would be no major changes.

a week to ten days from now is not a long time to wait. some people just need to relax and calm down about how much they are asked to wait for iOS 16. it will be a fantastic update and the best feature might be always on display or the home screen customization

I tend to wait for the first patch on every major update. It’s ok to wait a little. The worst part of hurrying is when some of your apps become imcompatible and need time to align.
To be honest I use my IPad primarily to watch videos and surf the web,I rarely use any of the features that come with it.
