3. This video was apparently shot with a 2017-model iPad Pro, as it is connected to an Apple Smart Keyboard Cover. This strongly indicates to me that much of the artistic and annotation functionality of iOS is still reliant on both the pencil and the smart keyboard, implying that if you want to do these things, you still need an iPad Pro.

   • It’s not though. The6 just didn’t use the new iPad.

   • You can use the pencil on the iPad now… And you can connect it to a Bluetooth keyboard if you want

7. I have an iPad Pro + Pencil. Why can’t I see the + drawing? Am I missing something? It is updated.

   • Joshua Masangcay I think i had the same problem. I just uninstalled it and reinstalled and then it worked.

   • This was adding in 7.0 you will need to update pages and I think you also need to update the OS to 11.3.

8. Would love to see a video comparing the new 2018 9.7 iPad for education versus iPad pro range. In the perspective of a college student usage. For lessons, assignments, video and audio production.

   • toiletbowlpoop as a college student. Unless you need 4 speakers, laminated screen or higher storage (64GB,256GB,512GB vs 32GB,128GB).
     It is substantially cheaper and slightly smaller (20%- screen) than the ipad pro. In terms of keyboards, no smart connector so you will need a Bluetooth keyboard. Battery life should be enough on both.

     Generally the 2018 iPad is good enough but for writing purposes I believe the ipad pro 10.5 would be better (not saying it is bad on the iPad).

     In the end, the pro is better but for your use case….. i would go for the pro. If you take art or try creating art once in a while get the pro. If you don’t the ipad would be enough for all your needs. (Note: in speed its not noticeably slower than the iPad pro 10.5 so you will be fine). You could wait till June till the iPad pro 10.5 gets replaced by a new model and gets a drop in price or you could buy refurbished from apple.

15. I wish they had a slider for the size… the largest choice for the pen is still fairly small.

    Having used microsoft office on a surface laptop with a surface pen – this doesnt seem like anything new…theyve had it for awhile… and to some extent theyve had similar functions on their iOS apps.

19. When I have 4 or more pages of hand written text / drawings it start to lag. Anyone else having this issue?
