Chen neffesh how? I have a iPad Pro and I’m thinking of selling it to get this. The iPad Pro is so overrated and unnecessary.
And the worst feature, 32GB and not 64GB in 2020 for the entry-level version.
The thing is, apple probably knows how much space the average iPad user is using, and they know how to balance cost vs storage to maximize sales. So the tradeoff is acceptable for most buyers.

I dont know why people still think that connecting the apple pencil to the ipad is the right way to charge it. Thats is not how apple designed it. Apple pencil is supposed to be charged with the adapter that comes in the box. But in case you missed to bring it with you while traveling you have a second option and that is to connect it directly to the ipad. Or in case while your using the apple pencil and its battery drains out, then you can quickly charge it by connecting to the lighting port of the ipad. This is how apple intended it.

Daniel Segel Its because people started of with the wrong approach. Just like the apple mouse. It has a charger port at the bottom. If apple put the put on the side people would start using it plugged it and that would be against what apple wants. Apple wants people to have wireless experience. Just imagine if apple put the port on the side and not on the bottom, its the apple pencil thing all over again. We are suppose to charge the mouse when it does not have charge and then use is wireless. Not use it while charging.
