Just a quick PSA 🙂 Have you guys ever encountered this?
tl;dw kill coreaudiod
Never had this issue in 20 years of Mac ownership. Strange! Now that I’ve watched this video sod’s law applies.
Oh noes, I’ve never had this issue, but now that I know about it, I’m pretty sure the irony will bring me this issue shortly.
Interesting. I don’t think I have ever encountered this bug before. Thanks for the tip!
no
Pretty sure it is a problem with the Universal Audio interface driver.
Loving the videos from 9to5. Inspirational. Not come across this issue on my Mac. Enjoying the new Public Beta of Catalina and IOS13 on my iPhone. Will be buying an iPad Pro 12.9 tomorrow and considering doing an unboxing video. Thanks again.
Do a video of 4k iMac with two LG UltraFine 4k displays.
It’s better no to have this issue at the first place, maybe audio interface driver causing this problem
I also kill coreaudio somewhat regularly for different reasons.
Off Topic: Please can you make a video on what happens to your existing downloaded Podcasts in iTunes when you upgrade to Catalina. I am concerned about what this page says https://kirkville.com/locations-of-media-files-in-macos-catalina/ I have a large podcast archive and some no longer have RSS feeds. The page says they go in a cache folder …. which to me suggests Apple now considers them temporary and could be deleted ….. which is NOT what I would want to happen. Thanks in advance
Never had this issue, but thanks if I ever do.
On the new Mac OS beta I cannot install Google Chrome is this a known issue
Never seen this issue, but glad to know there’s a fix if I ever do.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Been searching for a fix for this, but couldn’t find anyone else having this problem. Thought it was just me.
Now that I know it’s core audio, I’m wonder if it’s related to installing eqMac2 recently.
It’s been a known OS X issue with audio/video sync. Not necessarily connected to any third party software.
I have an iMac Pro .. never had this happen.
This happened to me and then I found out it was because of Boom3D
What happens to me is the Mac will freeze up for about 5 seconds and then unfreezes and any video IÂ had playing the video fast forwards to catch up with the audio which was playing while the system locked up. Very annoying.
Make script for it, to restart that daemon, when it takes too much cpu time.
MacOS got the most boring lock screen ever
