It’s a downgrade. PPI is below retina standard.
Does it have a fan on the back of the monitor ? Like the ultrafine 5k ? I tried to check when you detach the stand but it is hard to see. Thanks!

i literally bought this yesterday without knowing they refreshed them, when i looked at the rear i noticed the second thunderbolt 3 port and was surprised. so i essentially purchased this newer model without realizing it was the NEW ONE, that’s how stealth apple’s release was for this display

At 8:14 you mentioned the sensor adjusts the brightness automatically and it really seems (though very slightly) that it really does. But I have the previous 4K LG UltraFine and although it has the same sensor, it just doesn’t work. I searched internet and many people say theirs doesn’t work either. I was thinking maybe Apple would add the feature with a software update but then I saw your video and was very surprised.
Am I doing something wrong?
