  1. Nearly 350€ in Europe, that’s around 430dollars. Not worth it, i would better buy a 9,7 iPad Pro for this price..

  2. Why not USB-C to Thunderbolt charger? It seems like Apple is one foot “in the future” with the Macs and one foot “in the past” with the iDevices

    • Rudolf Rovňák because of Lightning money sadly. But hey, they’ll probably get rid of all ports in 3 more years once over the air charging is perfected.

    • Still they bring quality products that last years. If you look at Android tablets those last like 1-2 years LMAO!

    • Cenk Alçin kötü değil zaten sadece lamine yok. Gün ışığında parlar ve kalemle yazarken inanılmaz ses çıkarır. Yoksa 1600₺ye apple alıyorsun. Ön sipariş verdim zaten bakalım

    • Gökberk Çöllü anladım dostum bende almayi düşünüyorum hangi renk önerirsin beyaz çerçeve daha kötü gösteriyor diyorlar da.

    • Cenk Alçin tasarım eski tasarım ama ben her zaman beyazdan yanayım. Ama ekrandaki o boşluk görünmesin dersen siyah al kesinlikle. Ben gümüş tercih ettim

  3. I almost never use the Pencil for drawing, but mostely for navigating the interface and I truely like it. One of the plus side of using the pencil is that you don’t get all these fingerprints on the display and you need to clean it less regularly.

  4. I understand this model does not have “laminated screen”. But, honestly, it just doesn’t matter to me. It looks great. I upgraded from an old iPad Mini and love it. For $300-ish, I’m more than happy with the screen.

    • But feels and sounds worse: plastic-like. The best protection is simpley to not let it fall on the ground, easy as that! 😉

    • Linkvos technically, only the display is better protected. The screen that you actually interact with and touch is equally exposed on both

    • alliejr I was going to go with the cheapest version of the iPad Pro 10.5, but I got this one with 128gb and the Apple Pencil, and it was cheaper. And it’s great for taking notes, and I use it for drawing. It honestly does the same thing the iPad Pro does. Like even though it doesn’t have a good camera, doesn’t matter to me because I only take photos on my iPhone X. So it’s a perfectly fine iPad . (I upgraded from my 6 year old iPad mini)

    • alliejr same I’m about to do that and I don’t care if the screen is laminated or not

  5. The non-laminated screen is definitely a bummer, it feels like iPads and iPhones of years past, the glass feels somewhat disconnected from the screen and sounds hollow when you tap on it. The pencil is of questionable use though, if you don’t need it you’re better off buying the 2017 iPad at a discount. I bought a Surface Book assuming I would use the stylus, which is excellent in its own right, but found it pretty pointless unless you’re using it in a note-taking environment. It serves little to no purpose in a casual (web browsing) setting.

    • Nikiaf I’m still very satisfied with my ipad air 2…i have no use for the pen… So I’m good

  6. The screen is the only thing that is stopping me upgrading to the 2018 iPad from an IPad Air 2.

    • Darian Carmichel No the upgrade for you would be the Pro, not this… unless you want pencil support on the cheap.

  7. oh boy i cant keep up with their new products anymore.

and most of all, they were only minor changes. so then minor chance for me to upgrade

  8. this is literally the best cheapest device to run pubg and fortnite without a hitch. anything in that price range gonna compete? xD
