Razer brings a Mechanical Keyboard Case to the 12.9" iPad Pro. Is it any good?
This iPad Pro keyboard case features an adjustable kickstand, backlit keys, Bluetooth connectivity, and low profile mechanical key switches.

This is such an odd product. Most people would just use their laptop
instead
yes
wish they done this with the surface pro
But why
My thoughts? To get Apple-centric folks more aware of Razer. I doubt Razer
is expecting to sell a ton of these, but look how many Apple-focused blogs
covered its product.
It’s all about awareness. Plus, if you happen to be big on typing from an
iPad, it really does offer the best keyboard for that. Granted, there are
sacrifices, such as form factor, that you’ll have to make.
Always found this to be such a bizarre idea and product. Amazing video
Jeff!
+Canoopsy thanks man!
idk how jeff can handle only less than 10,000 views for each video.
shouldve stayed at iDB
+KidAloha87 it takes time to build a channel. We’ve actually done very well
considering the channel has been operational for only 6 months. Already
nearing 50K subscribers and have numerous 100K+ videos, and a few
approaching 1 million. I’m very happy with our progress 😀
I prefer my mechanical mx-clear end topre keyboards and find a Bluetooth
option there are a couple options out there
I’m a big razer fan myself and even having seen this keyboard featured a
while back by Austin Evans I am still amazed that they decided to make
this. Part of me wants to say “whyy razer whyyy” but at the same time that
is the very reason why most gaming or otherwise high end peripherals even
exist which makes this keyboard only more appealing to those who care about
such quality. I personally agree that the entire thing is quite expensive,
but you’re definitely paying for quality here and great quality at that.
Great coverage for this product. Thanks for doing what you do. I’ve been
following iPad Pro 12.9 accessories religiously and found they all fall
short of maximizing iPad’s strengths. After trying many options, I decided
to stick with the classic smart case and traditional cover paired with the
Magic keyboard. This gives me the freedom to leave the keyboard behind
while also giving me a way to stand my iPad up and type from a distance. I
even type on documents vertically! I cannot understand why so many people
are against using the Magic keyboard. It’s the best wireless low profile
option that is good enough for an iMac, its good enough for the iPad.
+MrMattWebb the MK is a great peripheral, indeed. I guess people just don’t
like that it’s not as portable.
This videos of 9to5Mac are the best in quality, in content… Jeff makes a
really good job.
No smart connector on interest in this shyet
Nice!
I have a feeling the price is crazy. Still watching
And yea keep up the good vids Jeff. I have been preferring yours to other
youtubers w a vid on same thing. Like Austins same vid is to the right and
skip.
Does it bug anyone else that he does hand gestures, even though he’s not
talking in real time.
probably just me..
“Here you can hear the difference” not when you talk over it…
