     2.0 Amps (USBPD) or 5.2Volts 2.4 amps. i just don’t get how can this
     adaptor automatically converts from 14.5 volts down to 5.2 volts… so
     confusing

   • +47crazed Might be it uses multiple or different pins for different
     devices/voltages. SATA connectors do that too so you can use laptop or
     desktop hard drives with the same power connector.

4. Does this ”trick” also work for smaller devices ? Because the iPhone
   actually can load with the faster charging currents.

   • You won’t notice a difference in charging speed from an iPad adapter to
     this one.

7. Jeff does this support faster charging for the iPad air 1st gen? I
   currently use the 12 watt brick and I might get this if it charges it
   faster because it takes so long to charge as well

   • if you want those older gen devices to charge faster just buy a charger
     with more amps. anything charger that provide more amps than the normal 2A
     charger apple provided with will charge faster.

   that came with the iPad pro seems to be useless.

     my brother has an iPad Pro), you just can’t use the iPad while it’s
     charging or else it’ll charge really slowly. Even then it still takes a
     really long time to charge.

   • apple is too greedy they would never do that for it user. they prefer it
     user pay extra for accessories.
