  1. I bought a second hand MacBook Pro 13.3 inch with M1, 16gb ram and 1tb ssd for 1500$ and I think that moving forward these will keep dropping in price

  2. Being more of a normal I more than likely will be going with the M1 MacBook Air maxed out as I am going to use it until Apple once again stops to support it like they just did with my 27-inch 5K Late 2014 iMac model. I would stick with my 27-inch 5K iMac if Apple would still be updating the macOS versions. Does everything I need it to do.

Can not wait to see what is next from Apple as I am still looking to replace my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). Thing is with all the reviews I have watched looks like a number of people in the production world are using from the Apple M1 MacBook Air to the top of the line 16-inch MacBook Pro M1/Max along with an external large screen 4K+ monitor on a vesa arm mount. Wish I could use my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) as a display with target display mode.

Now in the past have never thought about this configuration, however this would give me a second screen that I have always wanted. Also then could unplug the laptop, and use it anywhere in the house, or even take it with me to Starbucks once we get to the other side of the “COVID-19 pandemic of the unvaccinated”.

    • @Apfelbaum yea but you’re also buying it after the rush when they just came out after the back orders have been sent out. That’s like seeing someone who pre-ordered an iphone and had to wait 2 months because of all the back order and waiting until they are fully stocked on shelves and being like, yea I went to the store and got it in seconds.

It also depends on the set up you got, if you got the base, yea of course it’ll come fast because yours is already made. If you configured it more then it’s gonna take longer because those are made to order

  3. Last month I was able to get a BRAND NEW M1 MacBook Pro 13inch for $800 on Mercari. I was shocked at the price. Not a single scratch on it.

    • Nice! I almost bought a $1250 used MacBook Air 8c8c 16GB 1TB, but decided to go out for a new 14” 10c16c 16/1.

  4. Great video. Please do you have recommendations on videos of how to organize files and folders on a Mac? It would really help, thanks.

  5. Great video and very informative. Your audio level was very low. Not sure if anybody else noticed that but this was difficult to hear you from start to finish.
I am a casual MacBook Air user and mine is 4 years old and is the 8GB version. I am waiting to upgrade when the new Air is released in June 2022 and in new/amazing/vibrant colors.
I want a new one, in a new color and this time around I will get the 16GB version instead of the 8.

    • Regarding the audio level: What device are you using to watch this? I’m using iPhone 12 Pro with the volume set at about 45% and am able to hear every word with ease.

  6. I like the Touch Bar and find it very useful, it definitely worth the extra 300 with the brighter screen, bigger battery, extra core and the fan

  7. I’ve gone for the M1 7-core GPU Air with 16GB of RAM and with my usage the performance from the device is quite excellent. My heaviest usage is largely editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop and I have never used a computer than handles it better.

  8. I used iMac 27”. + windows laptop 14”. Just replaced windows laptop14” with MacBook Pro 16” M1 Pro base model, Can’t be happier. Screen and sound on 16” MacBook just amazing, also I feel like I can use it without external monitor, screen large enough. At the same time, it’s almost same size like my old 14” windows laptop, just little bit bigger, But 16” screen amazing for work. Yes it’s a bit heavy laptop, but I get used to it fast

  9. Unless you’re a creative professional who needs the power, make a money from your Mac and can get tax relief on it, then I think that the consensus is the MBA is absolutely fine and best bang for buck. Get 16GB of ram on it if you plan to keep it for more than 5 years and have 50 or more chrome tabs open at one time.

  10. Sir, I am a commerce student and I am looking forward to purchase Mac book air, I indecisive about 256/512 gb variant.. Please help me with this.
This will be my first ever apple product and I use an Android mobile phone so, will is suffer any difficulty while transferring files from it to macbook air..!?

  11. I bought the 13 inch MacBook Pro because I wanted the Touch Bar and it’s the model with the longest lasting battery.
