Is the weather app slightly different in ios 11 beta 4, when you open it?

The second public beta made my iPhone 7 absolutely unusable: The battery life in a region between 4-6 hours and intolerably hot area around the camera (where the processor is located) due to the phone’s struggles to do (..?) whatever things, presumably installing apps and updating location. I really felt the sort of hatred to my phone as I did when I was using android.
