Very good video!
What microphone arm is that?
Are you guys instructed by 925, LLC to do these “My favourite….” videos with affiliate links every month or something?
Did you see the “Free Trial (13 days remaining)” on the OWC SoftRaid software? It is at the 9:04 minute mark. To me, this means he doesn’t actually use this as a daily driver as advertised. If so, not cool. I’m getting tired of this. 9to5Mac is supposed to be trustworthy.
Nice
Hell of a list. Love all the products. But yeah I can’t imagine anyone buying this stuff without it being an investment/write off/business loan. The dang card reader is 350 dollars.
Just.. wow. I guess if I have 10k to burn.. on stuff for my 7k Mac Studio 😉
Got owc ministack STX, uad Apollo and a studio travel case from Amazon. Very pleased
What VESA mount do you like?
Can you access your Synology NAS remotely?
the Nuphy keyboard is Awesome ! by far my favorite keyboard ever. I bought a 2nd Nuphy Air75 for my windows PC after trying the first one. Love Nuphy
Jeff! One word: SHEESH! LOL!
What a setup! Where do I start? Depending on what the Silicon Mac Pro looks like, I’m most likely on the Mac Studio road. But I’ve thought about what accessories I’d get. For a pro photographer….
I love that TP-Link switch. $299! Finally 10Gb is getting more affordable. Currently, I have my MBP using an OWC 10Gb adapter connected directly to the 10Gb card on my QNAP NAS. It works but I really want something more professional. For the price, it’s not worth going with 1Gb.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a good review on the OWC Thunderbay. I’ve always wondered about it. I would say it’s overkill. I think spending the money on more internal storage in the Mac Studio would be more cost effective. But, this isn’t about cost effectiveness. It’s about performance. It would be cool to have 4 U.2 drive bays in RAID 0. Then have 4 more spindle drives in RAID 5. Killer DAS.
Bummer there isn’t an SD version for that card reader. It’s a sweet looking device! Desktop card readers always look so cheap. But I just saw one from Satechi that looks sweet. It more of a portable than desktop device but looks quality.
Great system!
A 6 grand monitor is an accessory?
Could we have a name and link to that monitor arm with the vesa mount?
I have a question how do you do a video with hdr? I’m asking this because with the new apple display studio people can’t see or edit videos on hdr. I’m very curious about that
Thanks for your video. I also have the 10Gbe on my Synology and on my Studio. How do I connect the two and the router (which is only 1Gbe)? Can I connect them all to a 10Gb switch you use?
How about KRK monitors?

Hey man. Thanks for this video! I was curious if your apollo twin x works with thunderbolt 4 connected into your mac studio? or do you have to convert to thunderbolt 3
