Apple trying to design everything in house I think is a bad idea. They will be spreading themselves too thin and creating weak spots with their dependency on a limited number of fabrication companies. It’s risky going it alone.
What the hell are you talking about? Lol Apple designs all parts, Samsung only manufacture the parts, LG or any other company who can manufacture the amount and in time. Same goes for the processor
@Felipe A. yes, sir exactly 100% Apple should bring every single thing in the house and design and manufacturing themselves
@Fred Bureau-Russell oh how come
Apple designing more components in house is a great idea. They’ll have more direct control over the supply chain leading to better engineered and more efficient products. Just look at Apple silicon to see the advantage.
The price should decrease,but I wouldn’t be surprised if increases after that
MicroLED tech is more expensive than other display tech though, so I guess we’ll see!
I think it will increase as well.
Just like everything else that Apple manage to finally design and produce in house has made each and every single thing designed in house to a whole Nother level, bringing hardware, software and services integration to a whole Nother level it’s self
other* (why add the “N”?)
itself* (It’s self = it is self)
And who manufactures mini LED
Samsung & Lg
So thank you for your information
MiniLED & MicroLED are not the same thing. MicroLED is supposed to be better than OLED in every aspect unlike MiniLED that is only superior to OLED in terms of max brightness and burn in as far as I know
@Sam B i know the difference
But all 3 get manufactured by LG & Samsung
@NISHUGARVUyes your not wrong but its a rumor that apple is doing everything in house
Apple “finally” dropping Samsung? Samsung are one of the best manufacturers in the world. Drop your fanboy attitude please
Dude, it’s not the 1st of April stop the jokes. Samsung and LG make the best panels by far pls don’t be such a fanboy.
Apple has been saying this forever but we should know that they’re not on the level of Samsung, Sony, LG and many others when it comes to R&D, innovation and development. They don’t have the facilities yet and won’t for a long time coming as they require cheap parts and labour to profit large from their products. Something they won’t be able to do operating in sunny US. – So they will continue to operate in China because it’s cheaper.
Ditching partners ???? Soon enough they’ll ditch any port attached to their devices.. Appe u can be whatever u want.. but sometimes we dont rrally need that . And dont really care
