I have no idea what Apple is doing. I would like to see them just stick with what they know best and it is computers, tablets and smart phones along with smart watches. If they want to get involved with glasses or anything that looks like a glasses they need to work on something for visually impaired people to use like navigating unfamiliar territory that will describe where they are and surface changes like going up and downstairs or curbs and curb cuts.
What are you on about. Apple is the most stable company in the world. If they are going into AR you can bet it will take off now. They lead the way in technology
Someone probably said the same thing when they first were going to release a phone, tablet, or phone. Good thing they didn’t listen.
All of that stuff you just said is on the decline. Apple needs to branch out to new markets if they want to stay competitive. VR/AR is the next big market and it would benefit them greatly if they got their foot in the door early on.
This kind of response is why Henry Ford said if he asked people if they want a car or more horses they’d say more horses
Do you think Apple will be allowing continuity camera and lidar to implement gaming and FaceTime with iPhone/Apple TV combination. I could see this being very helpful to testing portions of the VR headset materials???
they really should. This should be a device that helps with overall productivity andhopefully works across the entier apple ecoosystem

I think there is great potential for the use of VR headsets in training, education, entertainment, gaming and virtual meetings but somehow shopping in a metaverse seems a bit sad.
It’s all sad replacement for real life

Sounds all pretty interesting , i do wonder what it will contribute to the blind community , honestly i dont wear glasses but i am blind not sure what a device wil look like and if its even comfortable or can someone just yank it of my face and i have no glue where it went … altho if it was up to me i would rather have something like a body cam on the chest that would speak into my ear piece eventualy it comes down to prrecision navigation , i am excited for this new invention and knowing apple it will be no no nonsense , ok greets mak 🙂 5:55
