I came back to iPhone a few years back from Samsung and I love it, much better phone and more reliable honestly, it just works, enjoy your new iPhone 14 when you get it
iPhones are great. I loved android but iPhone made things simpler; and the stability on the hardware and software is class leading imo.
So I’m still not clear on the new body temperature tracking. Apples presentation seemed to emphasize its importance to women’s health pertaining to past body temp readings in predicting ovulation periods. That’s a great feature. It’s just its still not clear to me if I can push a button and get my body temp just as I can my pulse. I’ve got a series 4 and I don’t know that the series 8 is worth the upgrade.
As far as I can tell, that’s all it does (perhaps it also uses it for more accurate sleep tracking) but no it’s not accurate enough to just give you a temperature reading. Perhaps it will in future with software but I wouldn’t count on it any time soon.
It’s not ! It’s damn near the same product GET A THERMOMETER !
I never do sleep tracking, that’s when my watch is on the charger. I wish Apple would move on from sleep tracking and leave it to other products. I don’t wear a watch when I sleep.
I will probably upgrade to AirPod Pro 2 at sometime in the near future. However, I’m sticking with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my Apple Watch 7.
The dynamic island is awesome. The best reason to go with the 14 Pro
The camera set up on the Pro is great and the extended battery for the Airpods pro are what I’m interested in. They are my two must have items.

I might skip this one. I admire the Pro mainly due to its dynamic island, but it’s a bit too expensive for me. The non Pro iPhone next year might have this feature for less price, so I’ll wait for that
Might not dive in straight away at launch, but seriously interested in iPhone Pro 14 for the camera upgrade features.
what I’d like is an M2 powered iMac 27″ 5K as they’ve now dropped these. I love mine, but it 5 years old and feels slow. But the monitor remains AWESOME. Thanks for the recap!
I will be getting a 14 Pro Max in Space Black!! Probably not till after the first of the year, but it will happen! I will also be upgrading to an Apple Watch Ultra as well, coming from a Series 3.
When it come to watches the new Apple Watch 8 Ultra I feel comes in at a very good price of $ 799.00. One thing so far I have not herd from most of the pundits is the flat sapphire crystal, and protection up to the edge. This is a big feature for me.
Have had sapphire on my watches before I moved to an Apple Watch. My first Apple Watch screen took a beating and was a little scratched up. Now my Apple Watch 5 always has a Smiling Case Compatible with Apple Watch Series 6/SE/Series 5/Series 4 44mm with Built in Tempered Glass Screen Protector,Overall Protective Hard PC Case Ultra-Thin Cover- Clear. So far no scratches, however when I sweat the perspiration gets under the protector so I have to take it off to dry it out when I get home.
If I did not already have an Apple Watch the Apple Watch 8 Ultra is the model I would purchase. Thing is since I already have the Apple Watch 5 that does everything I want it to do except glucose monitoring (really want), or blood pressure monitoring (would be nice) I will stick with my Apple Watch 5.
Apple EarPods, and AirPods have never stayed in my ears without a third party device (earhook). This is why I moved to the Ultimate Ears Fit. If I did not own these I would purchase the Ultimate Ears Drops for even better fit.
First I would go Pro for the OLED display which is why I moved to the iPhone 11 Pro. Nice to be able to see the screen when I am out walking around, and in sunlight.
When it comes to eSIM I am going to have to check with my carrier to see how this would work for me if I need to move to a backup iPhone. A few years back I dropped, and killed my iPhone to a point it would no power up. I was lucky in that I still had my previous iPhone so all I did was pop out the SIM, and move it to my old iPhone and I was back up and running until I could get my newer iPhone repaired. Need to see how hard this is going to be if I have a new iPhone that only supports eSIM. Is there a KISS way to move my phone number/eSIM to a backup iPhone?
For now sticking with my iPhone 11 Pro with A13 154.9 GFLOPS supercomputer in my pocket until Apple comes out with an iPhone that has a USB Type C connector that I hope is either USB4 40, or USB4 80.
I’ll be going from the series 5 watch to the 8, and upgrading from iPhone 12 Pro Max to the 14 pro max. If I had a 13, I probably wouldn’t upgrade as I’m not wowed enough with the changes. Great vid!
hey for me i am waiting for the iPhone 15 pro series. or maybe the iPhone 16 pro max with under screen Face ID sensors under the display. or for a single camera hole or no holes on front display on iPhone series. For a design change to the iphone series. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max blue color right now. i’ll get the new iPhone 16 pro max or the iPhone 15 pro max. i would like to see the display camera battery. or other things to get better improvements on the next iPhone series. hopefully will get some big or small changes with the next iPhone 16 series. also will come with no notch no obstructions. on the front display on the iPhones series.
I still have the X(10) iPhone & I’ve been due so Long for an UpGRADE. Reason Y I kept my X so long was because when Apple brought out the 7 models & the 8 , it still outshined those 2 particular ones. But when the 11, 12 & 13 came out, that’s when I knew I needed an upgrade cause of the cameras & tech that was installed in those 3 models. Plus I got tired of that knoch that was in the last 3 as well. Now since Apple came out with this one (14 pro models ), I liked the pill shape even if it didn’t have the new specs added to it. They finally removed the knoch & that’s what caught my attention. Then what made preordered it is the Tech that was added to the pill shape & the 48mp camera that I’m really going to enjoy a lot. I may still keep my X I just may deActivate it & put it away, Y ya ask? Well it’s the phone that actually put Samsung on its heels as it was the one that revolutionized the cell phone market & kicked Sony, LG, HTC, Blackberry & Nokia to da curb. Only phones around are the IPhone, Samsung ( who now owns Android), Motorola & Google( android Creators ). Looking forward to getting my 14 ProMax very soon. Great content & im Outty!!!
